Who We Are
Rim Renew is Baltimore’s premier wheel repair and refinishing company located in Catonsville, MD. We provide superior quality rim repair and wheel customization with unsurpassed customer service and guaranteed results.
We specialize in fixing curb-rash, pothole damage, and unsightly wheels. Rim Renew will straighten, refinish, weld, restore, or completely customize your car’s factory or aftermarket wheels.
How We Started
Rim Renew was born when owner Sam Friedman hit a pothole on a local Baltimore street on his way to the airport. Sam’s car suffered a blown-out tire, but he managed to still make his flight owing to a quick tire change.
When he returned to Baltimore, the tire shop that replaced the tire told Sam that the rim was bent from the impact with the pothole and they did not have the ability to repair it, so they recommended he purchase a new factory rim from the dealership.
Sam soon found out that a replacement rim from the dealership would cost over $1,000. Not wanting to spend so much money, he immediately searched the internet to find someone who could fix the rim. When he could not find a company to fix the rim, Sam decided to look into doing it himself…and Rim Renew was born.
